Copyright & licensing
This page explains common collaboration scenarios. Where a project has a quotation, contract or written agreement, the project agreement takes precedence.
Clear boundaries for every use
Commercial commissions
The use, territories, term, media, exclusivity, inclusion of source files and permission for subsequent changes to commissioned work are governed by the quotation or agreement confirmed by both parties. Rights not specified are not automatically transferred.
Personal wallpaper commissions
Personal wallpaper and collection commissions are, by default, limited to the commissioning individual’s non-commercial display, enjoyment and personal social media use. Commercial promotion, merchandise, resale, sublicensing, template distribution and use of source files require separate written confirmation.
Original studio work
Original work created and publicly displayed by the studio may not, without written permission, be used for commercial promotion, commission solicitation, merchandise, resale, training data or other profit-making purposes. It may not be republished with attribution removed.
